The prestigious D Home Best Designer award reflects a testament to the excellent work and reputation Davis has garnered. As showcased in her D Home profile, one of Davis’ clients affirmed:

“I was deciding whether to sell my house and move, or stay and remodel. After looking at hundreds of homes for sale, I made the decision to stay and remodel. The smartest action that I took was to hire Laura Davis with HPD. Her emphasis on maintaining the integrity of the architecture while simultaneously updating my home to 2013 was a major factor in my decision to go with Laura and her firm.”

The D Home award is the latest recognition for both Davis and HPD.

In January 2014, the firm received the Best of Houzz 2014 – Client Satisfaction recognition from Houzz.com. Previously, HPD was selected as one of Dallas’ Best Small Architecture Firms in the 2013 Under the Radar competition presented by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Dallas Chapter.

In 2012, Ms. Davis was honored as a Forty Under 40 award recipient by the Dallas Business Journal. This award recognizes executives and entrepreneurs who excel professionally, and demonstrate commitment to the North Texas community.

Davis, along with her partners, Holly Hall, AIA, CAPS, and Larry Paschall, AIA, founded HPD in 2008. The firm specializes in residential and commercial architecture. From new projects to cultivating clients, Davis has been a guiding force in attracting new opportunities for the firm. Along with Paschall, Davis co-hosts the audio podcast
The Architecture Happy Hour and is author of the Dallas Architect blog. She also founded The Architecture Happy Hour networking group on Meetup.com in 2010. The group now boasts 1625 members.
